芳綸盤根由芳綸纖維浸漬聚四氟乳液和潤滑劑處理編織而成。有較好的耐化學性，高回彈，低冷流。芳綸盤根具有好的高轉速、高模數的性質（被稱為人造金屬線）。所以，與其它類型的盤根比較，它能抵抗顆粒結晶介質和更高的溫度既可單獨使用也可與其它盤根組合。在泵系統上是很好的石棉替代產品。
